Why HybridSRT.Com was created 

On November 17, 2003 at approximately 6:34 PM my eldest son, Andrew (HybridKid) died in an automobile accident on his way to a class.  He was finishing up his first year in college and some of his many friends were waiting for him in the parking lot to walk into class together.  We, his family were waiting for him to come home to bring yogurt and eat dinner after class.  He never made it.;(

What We Do

Before we go any further, I first want to make sure that everyone understands that Andrew was Not “Street Racing”. 

There has been some misunderstanding before because of what we are trying to do in his memory.  

1. In Memory of Andrew. 
2. To Promote Safe and Responsible Driving. 
3. To have Every driver be aware of the limits of themselves and their vehicle. 
4. Promote, Young and Old, learning to test their driving skills in a controlled and safer environment than the streets. 
5. Show how we built the new Project Blue SRT and hopefully provide some information on one way it can be done.  Everyone will take different paths and this is ours.
